SENIOR SUPPLY CHAIN CONSULTANT
Your mission as a senior supply chain consultant is:
To assess plant operations based on techniques like lean, TPM, Six Sigma, etc.
To analyse and implement specific operational improvements in one of the following areas: capacity optimization, lead time reduction, waste reduction, quality management, (multi-echelon)safety stock optimization!
Furthermore you will prepare, support and deliver all aspects of large business transformation programmes at clients in the Life Sciences, Retail / Consumer and Automotive industry.
This means that you will:
Work with client resources to learn their organisation, operations and requirements
Analyse issues identified and help define an approach to managing and solving them proactively together with the project team
Develop long-term, qualitative working relations with your clients
Qualifications
- A master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, Sciences or comparable experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations environment as an improvement manager, production, quality or maintenance manager, master (production) planner, detailed scheduler, process engineer or project manager in the Life Sciences, Retail / Consumer or Automotive industry; previous consulting experience is a strong plus
- Overall knowledge of techniques coming from various methodologies like business process mapping, change management, lean and/or six sigma
- APICS certification (CPIM) is a strong plus
- Knowledge of MRP and APS (preferably SAP) is a strong plus
- A client, people and process – centric mindset combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good project management, presentation and communication skills
- Fluent language skills in English plus 1 other European language.
- Strong interest in business development, methodologies and coaching (people management)
- Furthermore, you love working in teams yet you are self-dependent as well in taking up new initiatves.
